Body Piercing Training Courses We are able to offer body piercing training modules of all kinds for those of you that are interested in coming into the body piercing industry or for those of you that are already in the industry but would like to expand your range of body piercing skills. We are offering several courses to try to accomodate everybody. We have been in the industry for many years now and have kept up to date with the latest procedures and methods which means that we offer you the most up to date training possible. We believe that that our trainees deserve 100% of our attention, therefore our training modules are on a one to one basis - held at our studio (how to find us), which is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your training. We have worked hard to achieve the highest standards in our studio and are only willing to train individuals who are serious about body piercing and who are willing to uphold the standards that we have achieved. As previously mentioned we offer several training modules, the content of which are outlined below and as with all body piercing training courses, the content of the course is regulated by the tutor/lecturer leading the course. All training modules include both theory and practical training with a short written test at the end to ensure you have fully understood what you have learnt. You will also receive a manual to refer to throughout the training and a certificate of training which you can display in your studio which allows your clients to see that you are a professional at what you do. Our studio has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst maintaining the highest standards in health and hygiene and we have always been blessed with extremely nice clients, which will certainly put you at ease whilst you are training with us. We provide the models for your practical work and therefore the more advance notice you give us for your training module, the more it enables us to ensure we have enough models booked for you to work with. The fees outlined below include your training, all use of our equipment and beverages throughout the day (10am-5pm). We break for lunch for approximately one hour (which will be provided) - but the fee does not include the cost of your travel or overnight stay if you decide to do this but we can provide you with local accomodation information and costs if you so wish. So What Training Modules Are On Offer? Obviously we appreciate that you are investing time and money into being trained properly and as such we are here to provide you with the knowledge you need to be successful in what you do. Even after your training we are here to answer any questions that you have and are always on hand should you need us. This service is available to you indefinitely. We do not wash our hands of you once you have left our studio, we are here to offer continued support for however long you feel is necessary. Outlined below are the training modules that we offer. For obvious reasons, i.e. the stability and longevity of our own business, we are unable to teach anyone within a 30 mile radius of our own studio. Training Modules Module 1: Basic Body Piercing: The basic body piercing module spans over two days. The first day is theory based and the second day is practical work. On the first day however, we normally have walk in clients for piercing so you will be able to observe piercings before your practical work begins on the second day. The piercings that are covered on the basic module are above the waist piercings and we endeavour to provide you with enough models so that you can experience at least one of each of these piercings. The piercings that are included are: Bridge Of Nose Cartilage i.e. tragus, rook, conch, scaffold etc Eyebrow Labret Lip Madonna (beauty spot) Navel (belly button) Nipple (male & female) Tongue Cost of module 1: £800   Module 2: Advanced Body Piercing - Surface Piercings: The advanced body piercing - surface piercing module is a one day training, as it is assumed that the trainee is already in the industry and therefore has the knowledge already in place regarding health & hygiene etc but wishes to broaden their range of skills and piercings. The first part of the day is spent showing you the principles and techniques and the second part of the day is practical based. If however you are not already a body piercer and wish to take modules 1 and 2 together, then we can arrange this for you - a discount is available if you do both modules together. If both module 1 & 2 are taken at the same time, the training spans over 3 days. The surface piercings that are covered on the day are usually dependent on the models wishes, but you can expect to do a variation. These may include: Nape (back of the neck) Lower back Wrist Ankle Finger Facial i.e. horizontal eyebrow, vertical tragus etc Forearm Hips Chest The list is basically endless as these piercings are so versatile, so really it all depends on what the models are looking for on the day. Cost of module 2: £500 Cost of modules 1 & 2 at the same time: £1,100   Module 3: Advanced Body Piercing - Microdermals (dermal anchors): The advanced body piercing - microdermal module is a one day training as again it is assumed the the trainee is already in the industry and therefore has the knowledge already in place regarding health & hygiene etc but wishes to broaden their range of skills and piercings. The first part of the day is spent showing you the principles and techniques and the second part of the day is practical based. Again, as with the module above, if you are not already a body piercer and wish to take modules 1, 2 & 3 together, then we can also arrange this for you - a discount is available if you do all 3 modules together. Again if all modules are taken together, the training spans over 4 days. As with module 2, the microdermals that are covered on the day are model dependent, but you can expect a variation. As microdermals are so versatile, you can just about place them anywhere - so you can expect a wide variation! Cost of module 3: £350 Cost of modules 2 & 3 at the same time: £700 Cost of modules 1, 2 & 3 at the same time: £1,400   Module 4: Ear & Nose Piercing (system piercings): This module is designed for anyone that wishes to introduce ear & nose piercing into their studio or even hairdressing salon or beauty salon. It is a one day training module with the first part of the day being theory based and the second part of the day being practical based. It is important to note that the ear and nose piercing module uses disposable cartridges WE DO NOT USE GUNS OF ANY KIND IN OUR STUDIO so therefore the ear piercings covered are lobes and flat areas of cartilage i.e. the helix (top of the ear). Cost of module 4: £150 Cost of modules 1, 2, 3 & 4 at the same time: £1,500 If you are interested in any of the training modules that we offer, please use the form below to email us.
